The fair is taking place from May 10-12, 2024, at the Atelierhaus der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien (Semperdepot) located at Lehargasse 6-8 in Vienna. Among the exhibitors at the Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair, there are some notable names such as  Libro Arte (JP), Die Angewandte – Department of Drawing & Printmaking (AT), Kaunas Photography Gallery / Vilnius Art Academy (LT), Mangal Media (TR), Animal Bro (AT), Vienna Zines (AT), 51 Personae (CN), BL8D [‚blu: d] (EE), Ivy Zheyu Chen / UPON (USA), ist publishing (UA), Never Brush My Teeth (GR), Prostor (HR) and sululu (TW) will also be showcasing their works at the fair.

With 128 physical exhibitors and 26 online exhibitors from more than 30 countries, the Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair is a great opportunity for those who are interested in independent publishing to discover new works, meet like-minded individuals, and learn about the latest trends and developments in the field. Visitors can expect to see a diverse range of publications, including zines, artist books, comic books, graphic novels, and much more.

In addition to the exhibitors, Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair will also offer a variety of events, including online exhibitions, talks, concerts, and workshops. These events will provide visitors with an opportunity to engage with the exhibitors and to learn more about the works on display. With so much to offer, Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair is an event not to be missed by anyone with an interest in independent publishing, art, and culture. Also, the fair will be hosting international art book & zine exhibitions as virtual and physical formats.

During the fair, visitors can enjoy a diverse lineup of DJ and music performances, including sets by Ueberparadis, Ali Riza Firat (Ohne Milch), YaNoMi, Evi Pribyl, [previously on:] Generation of Scum, RatPack: dj juhuli vs. dj ratriot, DJ Edo & Leo, Winamp Power, Quatsch mit SoSa, DIONYSOS WIZDOM THEATER, LA WASHA, Bipolar Penguins, Enesi M. and Turbodeli. Video presentations and screenings will feature international independent publishers and zinesters.

This year, visitors can explore Queer Quarter, a specially designated space tailored for LGBTQIA+ attendees to effortlessly explore and discover queer art books and zines at Fanzineist Vienna. Queer Quarter is organized in collaboration with Gay45.eu. Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair is physical + online and open to the public. Ira Torres was born in Zaragoza. She started her degree in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Teruel, continued her studies in Madrid, and graduated from the University of Salamanca.
