What does DATING ALIENS mean in our context? Following last year’s theme, New Encounters, we want to continue discovering new things and developing fresh ideas, whatever or whoever they may be. Dating Aliens embraces the unfamiliar, the mystique, and the unexpected.

Good to know:
– You’re welcome to apply either individually or as a duo.
– Works with a strong conceptual foundation will be prioritized.
– All media are welcome (sculpture, video, photography, etc.).
– You should be open to teamwork and collaboration.
– Joy in the process is essential.
– Each selected artist will receive a symbolic artist fee of €200.
– Selected artists will be featured in our Parallel magazine.
– We prefer not to exhibit works that have already been widely shown.
– Participation in the OPEN CALL is free of charge.

Please send us:
– A short concept (max. 500 characters)
– An artist statement (max. 350 characters)
– A link to your website and/or Instagram

Love, LNR Team

Les Nouveaux Riches (shortened LNR) started in 2019 as a magazine and has since unfolded a cosmos that embeds art in a fresh and contemporary environment. Its mission is to report on the international art and culture scene through a multidisciplinary approach. LNR creates, produces, communicates, and experiments with diverse forms of expression that reflect its DNA—from 200-cm-long art scarves to XXL wall calendars. The productions embrace the subtle elegance of lifestyle. LNR is a space for creativity, style, freedom, community, and research. As the ideas and productions evolve over the years, we continue to release daily artist interviews and articles in German and English, just as we envisioned from the very first day.
