After your success with „Sculpted Marble“, you have now released your second single, „Dying is an Art“. Could you tell us about the creative process behind this new release?
The creative process behind „Dying is an Art“ was deeply personal for me. As the sole producer of my music, I drew upon my classical background and passion for electronic/synth-pop music to craft a distinctive sonic landscape. Striving to capture my style, I have a strong vision of what „my world“ sounds like. It’s hard to verbalize the unique sounds I aspire to create for another person, which led me to recognize the importance of mastering technical skills to fully realize my creative aspirations.

How did the title of this single come about?
„Lady Lazarus“ is a poem by Sylvia Plath that was first published in 1962. It is one of her best-known works and reflects many of the themes present in Plath’s poetry, such as death, identity, and femininity. It has been interpreted by many as a kind of manifesto of self-assertion and resistance to the forces of death and oppression.

Is there a specific message or overarching theme you wanted to convey with this release?
Apathy is dangerous.

Were there any particular artistic influences or collaborations that influenced your work?
I draw inspiration from a diverse range of artistic collaborations, such as with my friend and genius artist, Elizaveta Porodina. My work is also influenced by the distinctive sounds found in the music of artists like Grimes, Arca, and Björk.

On what level do you want to connect with this release?
As a music producer and artist. I collaborated with Hamilton on the cover, who brilliantly captured the visual world in which the song is embedded. The font design on the cover was created by my friend and talented artist, Ella Wanendeya.

What plans do you have for 2024?
Is there anything you want to realize? I’m going to continue producing on my own terms, creating otherworldly music. Additionally, I’ve started playing music as a DJ, exploring new avenues for expression and connection through sound.
