This year, in addition to the program organized by the participating venues, VARIOUS OTHERS will establish a dedicated headquarters. During the Opening Weekend, the historic Hotel Bayerischer Hof (Address: Promenadepl. 2–6, 80333 Munich) will not only accommodate international guests, but also serve as the stage for a dynamic „Unconference.“ Throughout the night, the hotel will be transformed by a marathon of musical acts, performances, artist talks, panels, film screenings, and site-specific interventions – turning the space into a vibrant hub of encounters and experiences.

„Too soon to say“ marks a glitch in the established order of things. As the Hotel Bayerischer Hof opens its doors to contemporary art, VARIOUS OTHERS creates an atmosphere where rules are questioned and new possibilities imagined. Participants will activate the hotel’s storied rooms, inviting visitors to enter an ephemeral world and move through the strange, the challenging, the speculative, the cathartic, and the historical – encouraging a view of the world as something that can be changed. How can art envision the future not only critically, but also aspirationally? Can these visions generate impulses for the present? It is too soon to say whether what unfolds will become memory, dream, fantasy, or reality. What is certain, however, is that art continues to serve as a foundation for solidarity and collective action. Considering today’s social and political challenges, the Unconference embraces speculation as a method – opening up new perspectives and possibilities for action.

These include the Welcome Reception on May 8, 2025, the VO Dinner on May 10, 2025, and the much-anticipated VO Special, titled „Too soon to say – The Unconference“, taking place on May 10–11, 2025.
