Junri Kamiwaki. Poem „Mi amore“

The photographer Junri Kamiwaki from Tokyo captured one of her nights in London in images and composed a poem that narrates her story under the title "Mi Amore."

I was listening to the radio in the car around midnight.
City radio.
Your song has just a few words. Nothing more, but
When I tune in to the sound, it’s lovely
Just three words
It’s quiet and gentle when the rain stops. It’s like listening to the blues.
When I looked up, it was blue and beautiful. A clear heart is what I want.
Rain today, rain tomorrow, rain all the time.
I cried all day yesterday.
I missed your call.
I just want to be loved, all that stuff.
Tears ran down my cheeks.
I woke up.
I don’t want to show it to anyone.
I went to a warm place where the sun shines.
The gentle sun was close to my heart. I felt it.
I love you.
I’m just going to say that.
Your words like that will last. Hug me when I’m down.
I want you to say „I love you“ again.
