There are fish that swim in cold or temperate waters, freshwater fish, and others that glide along the dark ocean floor. The same is true of people. Sometimes we say we feel like a fish out of water.

I arrived after a long, cold summer in England. The airport in Palma was about 10 minutes away from the city. The streets bustled with traffic and the sun spread its mantle on the buildings.

For her first show she created a portrait series of Leonardo DiCaprio exhibited paired or grouped with self-portraits. Rendered in small format, against the plain background, the protagonists appear cut out of context.
