Stephan Wiesinger. cache

Cache (2023) photo paper laminated on wooden frames, ca. 110 x 70 cm each.

This latest work shows six objects in the shape of gravestones where each piece stands for a close person which no longer exists. The wooden frames are covered with photographs from the last film roll of my first ever analog camera, dedicated as a farewell. A cache is a place of existential non-existence. So are the persons I lost.
