Exhibition. Identity. Barbara Moura

Barbara Moura’s works reflect on the role and struggle of individuality and isolation, the changes in one’s life that came with the pandemic and a critical view on the mental health crisis that can no longer go unaddressed by our systems. It also shows self-staging and vulnerability as powerful tools in today’s figurative expression and in society when all we can rely on might be just ourselves.

Barbara Moura was born in Lisbon, where she graduated in Film at the National Film School. She then moved to London where she did her post-graduate studies with distinction at Central Saint Martins. She currently lives and works in Vienna.
