About: XX ART FLÂNERIE is an international, decentralised and transdisciplinary art and culture festival in Vienna that presents and promotes projects that focus on contemporary resonance of historical and demographic contexts. The aims to connect young creatives, nationally and internationally. The alternative art scenes from Vienna, Barcelona and Vilnius are courageous, diverse and individual. These character traits should make up the festival. That’s why the festival will take place at a total of 20 different exhibition venues in Vienna’s 15th, 12th and 6th districts – emerging and established galleries, studios, project spaces, off-spaces and many other hidden cultural production sites. They all show their own program and thus give the festival its diversity. The international group exhibition „Social Lubricant & Water Politics“ at the Kunstbogen (Untergrundbahn Bogen 6, 1060 Vienna) forms the all-embracing arc.
